Today, we’re checking in with a quick construction update for some of our students who are building their dream home in the beautiful suburb of Moorebank, NSW. This one is a knockdown rebuild project that’s set up perfectly for multi-generational living, and it’s shaping up to be an incredible family home.

The Layout: A Home Built for Big Families

This property is designed with large families in mind, especially those who want separate spaces for grandparents or extended family members. From the front, you’ll notice the double garage, which is spacious enough for all your vehicles or even a home gym setup. As we step inside, you can see just how well thought out this home is.

Downstairs Layout

Firstly, he front of the house features a huge bedroom and a bathroom with a separate entrance. This space is perfect for grandparents or other family members who want their own private area. There’s even a living area that opens out to the back, giving everyone their own place to relax.

On the other side of the house, we’ve got the main kitchen, living, and dining area—all open-plan and perfect for hosting family gatherings. There are also two additional bedrooms downstairs, bringing the total to six bedrooms in this home.

Upstairs Layout

Heading upstairs, you’ll find the rest of the bedrooms and another living area. There are four bedrooms upstairs, including two master bedrooms with ensuites, plus a main bathroom. The upstairs living area is open and spacious, providing a nice retreat for the family to enjoy.

All in all, this house is designed for multi-gen living. Six bedrooms and four living areas provide plenty of space for large families to spread out comfortably.

Lockup Stage: On the Road to Completion

The project is now almost at lockup stage, with the roof and bricks in place, and we’re heading towards the next phase of fixing. This means we’re not too far off from the home being completed. The family should be able to move in by early next year, and it’s going to be an amazing space for them to live in.

The Benefits of a Knockdown Rebuild

This is a knockdown rebuild strategy, which offers some fantastic advantages. Our students acquired an older property—about 55 years old—and have completely transformed it. One of the great things about knockdown rebuilds is that they allow you to get a large block of land. In this case, almost 700 square metres in a great location. A great chance to upgraded the home to suit your needs and tastes.

In this case, our students were able to secure a prime spot near Liverpool. This placed them close to all the amenities they needed. This property has been tailored perfectly to their family’s needs. It contains six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a double garage, and multiple living spaces. It’s the kind of home they’ll never grow out of, no matter how big the family gets.

A Shoutout to Our TMAP Students

Our students have done an incredible job on this project. They started by acquiring their first property in Gregory Hills. Now, they’re moving on to this exciting knockdown rebuild in Moorebank. They’ve followed the TMAP strategy and are building not only their dream home but also their long-term wealth. It’s been a remarkable journey for them, and we couldn’t be more proud!
