Post-Summit Energy Hits Different
One of the things I love most about the couple of weeks after the Summit is the energy. Students are pumped, saving and planning. They’ve been inspired, and now they’re ready to take massive action. I spend a lot of time in one-on-one sessions during this period, and without fail, I start to see strong themes emerging.
Comfort Game? Not Anymore
Last night I had a session with a great family — hardworking, strong financial resources — but before the Summit, they were deep in the comfort game. At the event, they heard the concept of the Poverty Game, Comfort Game, and Wealth Game, and it landed hard. They connected with it. And now? They’ve made serious shifts.
And here’s the thing: talk is cheap. As a mentor, what you’re looking for is real evidence. You want to see changes in behaviour — not just good intentions. And that’s exactly what this family has shown. They’ve restructured their finances; adjusted how their money flows. They’ve committed to saving, and they’re smashing the savings targets we originally set.
Money in Every Account
What’s even more powerful is what they’re experiencing now: progress. Every bank account they’ve got? It has money in it. And that money keeps going up. That’s the moment when it starts to click. That’s when saving starts to feel good.
In fact, I was with another family earlier in the day, and they told me one of their favourite new habits is logging into their banking app just to watch the balances rise. That feeling? That’s addictive.
Progress Becomes Identity
When you’re on a weight loss journey and you lose five kilos, you want to keep going. The same is true in your finances. When you save your first $5K, $10K, $20K — or even $100K — it becomes addictive. Watching your asset base grow gives you momentum.
Before long, the habit turns into your identity. You’re no longer just someone trying to save — you’re a wealth builder. You’re not hoping to one day own assets — you do own assets. That’s who you are now. That’s how your family moves.
Final Word: Make Progress Your New Addiction
People say spending money is fun — but if you’ve ever stacked six figures in savings, you know saving is even better. It’s sexy. It’s powerful. And it changes your entire financial identity.
So log into the app. Watch the balances rise. Get addicted to progress. Because once you switch from habit to identity — you’ve officially joined the Wealth Game.
Let’s get it.
