Back to Queensland – A Full-Circle Moment

The recent Teach Me About Property (TMAP) event in Queensland wasn’t just another workshop — it was a powerful return. This was the first TMAP student event in the Sunshine State since pre-COVID, and the emotion in the room was clear from the start.

Paula and Massey Archibald were in the room, and reflected on what made this event special — not just the new faces stepping up to change their lives, but the familiar ones too. OG families from as far back as 2017 reconnected with the TMAP mission and shared their journey.

One of the standout moments came during a visit to Ormeau, in the northern Gold Coast corridor. Back in 2017–2018, twelve TMAP families bought into a development there. The team visited one of the families, shared breakfast, met the dog, and walked through the neighbourhood. Those homes, bought for around $470,000, are now valued at $930,000 — proof of the power of early action.

Meadowbrook Crash Course – Queensland Showed Up

Held at Meadowbrook Golf Club, this event was originally planned for earlier in the year but was delayed due to floods. Thankfully, the weather turned it on — clear skies and a full room.

Unlike the big summits, this was a Cause Method Crash Course. It was a smaller, more focused event designed to break down the full Cause Method in detail. For many, the deeper level of teaching helped things finally click. Attendees walked away with clarity, confidence, and a fresh hunger to act.

The Morning: Tech Meets Education

The first session focused on the Education Pillar. Students were introduced to TMAP’s latest tools — data-driven tech that helps pinpoint high-potential suburbs and property opportunities.

This new content had people buzzing. For many, it was their first time seeing how technology could sharpen their investment choices. The excitement in the room was clear — people were eager to learn more.

Midday Laughs: Money Personalities and Elbow Nudges

After a solid lunch (TMAP always delivers on food), the event moved into the Community Pillar. This is where things got both hilarious and helpful.

Couples laughed and nudged each other during the money personality session. One student even stood up to jokingly call out his wife as a “spender” — finally, with proof. But behind the jokes was real progress. For many couples, this session opened up new ways to talk about money without tension.

The Afternoon: Strategies That Stick

The final session focused on the Action Pillar, and this is where everything came together. The penny dropped for so many in the room as they finally understood the nuts and bolts of strategies like Low Money Down (LMD) and property options.

The room shifted. Heads nodded. Lightbulbs lit up. Long-time students realised they’d been sitting on unused equity for too long. Others decided it was time to take their first big step.

TMAP’s Big Lesson – We Are the Lighthouse

What hit home for many students was this: TMAP is the lighthouse. People may wander, pause, or take breaks, but TMAP is always improving, always growing, and always here when you’re ready to move again.

The depth of content, the quality of tools, and the welcoming community showed just how far TMAP has come — and where it’s going next.

What’s Next? Action.

Students left the event fired up and ready to move. For many, this week is the start of their next deal. Some are reigniting momentum, and others are beginning their journey.

As we say at TMAP: “action takers are moneymakers.”
